Professional Development Requirement for Renewal
The equivalent of 10 hours of Professional Development per year for a total of 30 hours per 3 year period.

- Click "Download File" below. This will open a new tab in your browser with the application form.
- Download the application from the webpage to your computer by clicking the download symbol in the top right corner of the page.
- Save the form to your computer.
- Complete the "Personal Information" section.
- Complete the next sections by briefly describing the activity and indicating the number of hours of credit attributed to that activity.
- Please note that you may be asked to provide proof of completion of the activity.
- Please also note that you may be asked to link the activity to a compentency(ies) in the Standards and Guidelines for Career Development Practitioners if further clarification is required.
- Once the form is completed, save the form.
- Return to this webpage and click "Choose File."
- Choose your saved form and click "Submit."
- You will be invoiced for the $75 certification renewal fee and the required $50 NBCDA membership fee. You will also have the option to be invoiced for 2 or 3 years’ membership.
